Please join me in congratulating AlluraD, Sartor and Lady Sunshine for their craft. Thank you all for your participation and support. Choosing a winner was a hard task.
A new poetry challenge will begin at both Rollin Thunder Poetry Challenge and 'CafeRg's Splash Poetry Challenge' within the next couple days.

Your Molten Dreams
Melt me down
To fill your need,
Wanton dreams,
Planted seed,
Tilled in fertile soil.
Drink me in
To slake your thirst,
Denuded breast,
Deeply nursed,
Quenched with sweet illusion.
Bend me back
A supple bough,
Arched and ready,
Knowing how,
To pliantly support you.
Give me life
To keep me near,
Without you
I disappear,
Lost in your molten dreams.

VALENTINE
Brightly jeweled within your eye it sparkles crystal clear.
I near regret to kiss it dry and lose that lovely tear.
Let not a single teardrop fall, nor trace thy lovely cheek.
No sadness on this day recall, no sorrow should thee seek
Today my love is love for thee and all my love is thine.
I beg an answer to my plea, to be thy valentine.
Should I receive thy sweet consent to that which I desire,
My aching heart would be content to burn in love’s hot fire.
Should thee refuse to grant my prayer, I shall remember thee
and no one else my love will share, for love is you and me.
Sadly I shall go my way, my search for love is through,
for I have found my love today. The love I found was you.
